Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

Option A

• Four Years Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognized institution.
• Minimum 50% Marks in the concerned subject.
• At least 50% aggregate marks.
• English should have been studied in all three years.

OR

• Bachelor’s Honours Degree with at least 50% Marks in the concerned subject.
• Aggregate of 50% Marks.
• English studied for at least 2 years in a three-year degree course.

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% Marks in the concerned subject and aggregate.
• English studied in all three years.

Essential

• Must have passed CTET (Paper-II) conducted by CBSE as per NCTE guidelines.
• Competence to teach through English & Hindi.

Option B

• B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Note:

• Candidates who have completed a four-year integrated B.Ed. course are exempted from CTET qualification.
• Existing NVS employees appointed on compassionate grounds may also be exempted from CTET.

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Teaching experience in a recognized school.
• Experience in residential schools.
